2017: The End Of The World As We Know It

“SEE YOU NEVER 2016!!!”
“2016 SUCKED”
“I NEED MORE WINE”
– Countless amounts of people on my Facebook/Twitter/Instagram feed.

Really? You hated a number that indicated what calendar year it was? Childish.

I’m sure you also hate Mondays as well. Perhaps it’s something to ponder while heading into 2017. I’m sure your lifestyle isn’t quite living up to your expectations and you are a bit disappointed with how your life is playing out. Hell, I wish I was a rich author writing books and screenplays on a beach in Turks and Caicos while also managing multiple successful healing centers and companies that produce renewable technologies, but instead I come to you from my couch with the Leafs vs. Redwings Centennials Classic on the TV, a soul-warming earl-grey tea beside me, and some bumpin’ Enrique Iglesias coming out of my headphones. Not quite a Turks and Caicos lounging millionaire-author-lightworker-environmentalist-extraordinaire, but that’s all in the works.

I won’t lie, on a global scale the world was absolute crap in 2016. A lot of influential and life-changing celebrities and heroes passed away, there were countless terrorist attacks, there was a lot of political uncertainty, acts of homophobia and racism were everywhere, and there were countless environmental disasters and diseases destroying the lives of millions, to name a few of the things that happened. It’s almost as if we are at the end of the world as we know it.

And luckily for us all, 2016 was indeed somewhat the end of the world as we know it, or it was at least the end of a 10-year cycle.

Was learning some numerology ever a part of your New Year’s Resolutions? Well even if it wasn’t, you’re about to educated.

Add up the numbers 2+0+1+6 = 9.
9 is the last number before we start over again at 1, with the number 10, therefore the number 9 displays that we are at the end of a cycle.

Now add up the numbers 2+0+1+7 = 10.
Now the number 10 can be broken down into both 1 and 0.

Keeping this in mind, I will now go a little bit Kabbalistic on you.

9 = the sphere Yesod.
Among other things, Yesod represents Foundation (of everything [relationships, financial, career, love, personal, health, spiritual, etc.,]).

1 = the sphere Kether
Kether represents Crown, AND
0 = the sphere Malkuth
Malkuth represents Kingdom.

In the grand blueprint of how to create on this planet (see Tree of Life above), Yesod is the sphere that comes before Malkuth (Foundation before Kingdom, because obviously you need a strong foundation to create a strong Kingdom [of any aspect in your life]). Meanwhile, Kether is at the top of the tree because after we master our Kingdom, we are crowned as Kings and Queens, and we begin a new cycle of creation.

Did 2016 suck for you? Ask yourself what are some of the foundations of your life. Look at your beliefs and your values and see how they shape your decisions. Did a family member or friend tell you that you were not smart/good enough to accomplish something when you were younger? Guess what buddy, that event is probably still effecting your decision making process today by constantly telling you that you aren’t good enough to accomplish your dreams.

So knowing that we are now in the year of 2017, I challenge you to take a good look at your Kingdom. In the past 10 years, were you actively working on building a Kingdom that you would be proud to live in? What does your Kingdom currently look like? Is it a Kingdom with an abundance of joy, wealth, good health, positive emotions, and a career that wakes you up in the morning with a surge of energy? Or perhaps is it a Kingdom that is filled with drama, bad health, negative emotions, lack of abundance, and general things that make you think that there is something wrong with a number that dictates a calendar year? Do you even acknowledge that you are supposed to be living in a Kingdom, or are you too busy keeping up with the Kardashians?

Where your life was at in Foundation (2016) most likely has a big impact on how your Kingdom (2017) is shaped, but I’m a big believer in second chances and imagination, so if you truly want to hit the reset button on your life, now is also a perfectly good time to do so – remember that we also enter into Kether (crown) which means this is the beginning of the next 10 years of your life. Good luck, and make it count!

So I got one question for you. Can someone build a kingdom that suits their needs if they don’t know who they are?

My personal answer is no because that would be like saying a dog knows how to build a fishbowl for a fish, and I don’t think fish need an abundance of tennis balls, bones, and things to pee on, but hey, I’m not going to be the 1,000th person in your life that tells you what to think or how to live.

But what I will say is that I got a few tools that can help you learn who you are as a true King/Queen and God/Goddess so that you can build a Kingdom accordingly.

  1. Consider asking me about what a Life Activation is. It’s one of the first steps into allowing yourself to see the bigger picture and the greater possibilities that are available to you in life. And it shows you your potential as a King/Queen.
  2. Once you find out about your potential, ask me about the Empower Thyself class. The “What the hell? That was the weirdest and yet coolest two days of my life and I am ready to start living my life as an exalted being!” Ok, it’s not quite like that for everybody, but within 6 months your life will be considerably different in a positive way. It grounds in that King/Queen essence into everything that you do.

And if you aren’t interested in these two things, that’s totally ok too. You just keep doing you, unless you aren’t satisfied with how you are doing you anymore.

And last but not least, here is a quote to get you to ponder a little bit more about yourself.

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.
